As an international, fortune 500 company, Hasbro has many brands to work with, and in my case, for. I worked mainly on the Star Wars Fan team but also wrote for Power Rangers, G.I. Joe, and Ghostbusters. Each brand had its own voice—allowing me to stretch my writing skills and reach different audiences. From social to e-commerce to international PDPs, I was able to be part of the full range of copy in the Hasbro universe.

Star Wars has a specific tone of voice that fans look for time and time again. It was very important to continue that while working SEO key words and optimizing space—like putting together a great big galactic puzzle.

HasLab is a crowdfunded platform that hopes to bring dream projects to fans, meaning they get exclusive products that would not normally be on the market. I’ve been fortunate to write 4 HasLab PDPs in my time at Hasbro, but here are my favorites.

This G.I. Joe HasLab had some challenges with funding, so the team decided to add a few Cobra figures and I revamped the PDP with some creative storytelling.
